Ida Dodd

Ida Dorsey Dodd, 78, a native and resident of Belle Rose, died July 19, 2004.

Visitation will be 2 to 4:30 p.m. today at Williams and Southall Funeral Home 
in Napoleonville and 5 to 8 p.m. today at Greater Israel Baptist Church in 
Ewellville. A religious service will be held at 8 p.m. today at the church, 
with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Ferman James; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-
grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claiborne and Ida Ross Dorsey; son, 
Willie Turner II; brothers, the Rev. Leonard A. Dorsey; the Rev. Will Dorsey 
and Samuel Dorsey; sisters, Rosemary Dorsey Dandridge and Bessie Myles.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
