Marquist Smith, 22, a native and resident of Raceland, died July 22, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in 
Raceland. A religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with 
burial at Morristown Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland.

He is survived by his mother, Jessie Smith Gray of Raceland; father, Warren 
Sherphand of Raceland; stepfather, Odell Gray of Raceland; brother, Karon Smith 
of Raceland; and sisters, Dominique and Laquista Smith, both of Raceland.
