The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ================================ November 18. 2004 3:54PM Alvin LeBoeuf [Photo] Alvin "Noot" Joseph LeBoeuf, 74, a native of Montegut and resident of Pointe- aux-Chenes, died at 7 a.m. Nov. 17, 2004. Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. today at Pointe-aux-Chenes fire station and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Audrey Thibodeaux LeBouef; sons, Ray J. and Earl J. LeBoeuf; brothers, Henry A. "Nome" LeBoeuf Jr. and Allen "Beb" J. LeBoeuf; sister, Viola "Soeur" LeBoeuf Lirette; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Sr. and Camilla Naquin LeBoeuf; brother, Norman LeBoeuf; grandparents, Caliste LeBoeuf, Eurzeline Ledet, Lotaire Naquin and Marie Louise Thibodeaux. He was a self-employed carpenter, an usher at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He volunteered his carpenty services at the church and enjoyed gardening. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
