Danos, 78, a native of Cut Off and resident of Larose, died at 11:45 p.m. Nov. 18, 2004. Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Lauravie Cheramie Danos; sons, Glenn and Emmett Danos; daughters-in-law, Charlene and Stacy Danos; daughters, Laura D. Dantin, Jennifer D. Cheramie and Lorrie D. Cheramie; sons-in-law, Jerry J. Dantin Sr., Jessie Cheramie and Rickey Cheramie Sr.; brothers, Harris and Robert Danos; sisters, Ruth Charpentier, Eugine Guidry and Judy Adams; 13 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death his parents, Armand and Vela Trosclair Danos; brother, Emmett "Sue" Danos; and sisters, Genieve Ramagoze and Mae Duet. He was a World War II U.S. Army veterans and member of the VFW, a fourth-degree Knight of Columbus, member of the Holy Name Society and American Legion.
