Visitation will be from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday and 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. She is survived by her daughters, Dolores Pitre Cheramie and her husband, Claude, of Houma, and Phyllis Pitre Zullo and her husband, Ernest, of Weeki Wachee, Fla.; brother, Andrew Arcement of Thibodaux; sisters, Clara A. Pasqua and Sarah A. Legendre, both of Thibodaux, and Della A. Blanchard and Doris A. Daigneault, both of Houma; four grandchildren, Shane A. Cheramie and his wife, Rayann, of Houma, Selena Cheramie Shannon and her husband, Casey, of Patterson, Sonya Hebert Matherne and her husband, Curt, of Lockport, and James L. Hebert and his wife, Michelle, of Houston; two step-grandchildren, Ernest Zullo III and Catie Zullo Putt and her husband, Mark, of Colorado; five great-grandchildren, Sarah and Rebecca Domangue, Brady T. Shannon, Megan A. Matherne and Shane Julian Cheramie; and five step-great-grandchildren, Jacob and John Broussard, Aaron and Jeremy Dennis and Jack Allen Putt. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph "T-Joe" Pitre; parents, Furcy and Sarah Champagne Arcement; and brothers, Murray, Morgan "Pip" and Howard Arcement. She was a retired employee of Lady of the Sea General Hospital in Galliano. Falgout Funeral Homes of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
