Comeria Blame

Comeria Dabney Blame, 94, a native and resident of Belle Rose, died Nov. 21, 
2004.

Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. today at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in 
Napoleonville and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at First Israel Baptist Church in Belle 
Rose. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with 
burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Shirley B. Dennis of Napoleonville, Lorenza 
Cleggett, Comeria Loretta Blame and Janice Sherman, all of Chicago, Zelda Blame 
of New Orleans, Carla B. Bias of Belle rose and Devona Carr of Atlanta; son, 
Oliver "Joe" Blame of Belle Rose; sisters, Aline Randle of Marrero, Eula Mae 
Dabney of New York and Ernestine Richards of Belle Rose; 20 grandchildren; 28 
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Blame; parents, Willie and 
Lorenza Dabney; daughters, Delores and Betty Blame; and sons, Sterling, Harold 
and Louis Charles Blame.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
