Elverine Kief

Elverine Danos Kief, 90, a native of Cut Off and resident of Galliano, died at 
1:24 p.m. Nov. 24, 2004.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Lola Cantrelle; sisters, Thelma Danos Callais 
and Anorine Danos Eymard; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one 
great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clerville Kief Sr.; parents, Pierre 
and Lucille Cretini Danos; son, Clerville Kief Jr.; daughter, Ruth Kief; 
brothers, Paul, Nasime and Henry Danos; sisters, Augusta Bourgeois, Vera Seal, 
Lucitte Chouest and Lucy Guidry.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
