Henry Reado Sr.					[Photo]

Henry "Pompee" Reado Sr, 88, a native of Raceland and resident of Thibodaux, 
died at 11:37 a.m. Nov. 28, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Third Zion Baptist Church in 
Raceland. The religious service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. 
Burial will be in the Young Men Benevolent Association Cemetery at Lafourche 
Crossing.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph Reado of Raceland, Lloyd Reado of Thibodaux 
and Norman Reado of New Orleans; daughter, Ruth Mae Jones of New Orleans; 
sister, Elnora R. Smith of Raceland; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 
and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Frances Adams Reado; son, 
Henry Reado Jr.; brother, Ezikel Reado Sr; and sisters, Stella Thomas and 
Alberta Reado.

He was a member of Third Zion Baptist Church and served on the usher board for 
many years.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
