Herbert Terrebonne Jr.

Herbert J. "Put" Terrebonne Jr., 83, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of 
Cut Off, died at 5 p.m. Nov. 6, 2004.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 
Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the 
church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

He is survived by his wife, Gosta Pitre Terrebonne; son and daughter-in-law, 
Lindo and Thelma D. Terrebonne; sisters, Adeline T. Callais and Aline T. Danos; 
grandchildren, Keith and Craig Terrebonne and Andrea T. Curole; nine great-
grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hebert Sr. and Ida Cheramie Terrebonne; 
brother, Wilbert Terrebonne; sisters, Edith T. Savoie and Ida T. Collins.

He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a U.S. Army veteran 
of World War II. He was a retired tax collector with the Department of Revenue.
