Hubert Oncale

Hubert "Hubie" Oncale, 80, a native and resident of Chackbay, died Nov. 7, 2004.

Visitation will be from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor 
Catholic Church in Chackbay.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the 
church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Alina "Tillie" Oncale; son, Hubert "Bert" Oncale 
Jr.; brothers, Nolton and Russell Oncale; and sister, Daisy O. Durocher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Blanche Percle Oncale; and 
brother, Herman Oncale.

He was an usher at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, a veteran of World 
War II, a member of Knights of Columbus Council 8743 of Chackbay and the 
American Legion Post in Thibodaux.

Thibodaux Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
