Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. A religious service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bistineaux Cemetery in Heflin. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Stewart Madden of Houma; sons, Jerry Madden of Houma and Terry Madden of Breaux Bridge; daughter, Dena Madden of Houma; sister, Josie Crawford of Minden; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Madden and Emma Cole Madden; three brothers; two sisters. He was president of Madden Cable Service and a member of Jerusalem Temple Shriner's Club, Masonic Unity Lodge 267 and the Marine Corps League. He was a board member of the Terrebonne Sportsmen's League and the True Buck Hunting Club. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
