Murphy Rodrigue Sr.					[Photo]

Murphy J. Rodrigue Sr., 81, a native of Chackbay and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Nov. 7, 2004.

Visitaition will be 5 to 9 p.m. today at Thibodaux Funeral Home chapel and 8 to 
10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Co-cathedral in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian 
burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at St. 
Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his sons, Murphy Jr. and Stewart Rodrigue; daughters, Patricia 
Rodrigue and Arlene Benoit; brother, Willie Rodrigue; sister, Lucy Rodrigue; six 
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Chiasson Rodrigue; parents, Allen and 
Lorena Marse Rodrigue; infant son, Michael John Rodrigue; and brothers, Leland 
and Lloyd Rodrigue.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict. He was a 
member of the VFW Post 5097 and the American Legion.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
