Norbert Morvant

Norbert "Bear" Morvant, 91, a native and resident of Chackbay, died Wednesday, 
Nov. 10, 2004.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Monday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. Mass will be at 
10 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by two sisters, Esther Morvant Hidalgo and Nolia Morvant 
Chaisson; numerous nieces and nephews; and long-time friend, Ray Sonnier.

He was preceded in death by his companion, Lorraine Corner; his parents, Henry 
Jack Morvant and Marguerite Peltier Morvant; two brothers, Alexander "T-Son" 
Morvant and William "Billy" Morvant; and one sister, Enola Morvant Watson.

He was Catholic.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
