Rusty "Dula" Marcel, 20, a native and resident of Houma died Nov. 2, 2004.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Houma, 
with burial in Rogers Cemetery in Houma.

He is survived by his wife, Anica Voisin Marcel; parents, Donna Marcel Bourg and 
stepfather, Shawn Bourg; daughter, Alexya Grace Marcel; brother, Shawn Bourg 
Jr., stepsisters, Bethany and Brandie Bourg; grandparents, Diane Luke Marcel and 
Walter Marcel Jr., his step-grandmother, Claudia Prosperie; and his great-step-
grandmother, Theresa Prosperie.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Edna Authement Luke and 
Whitney Luke and Kate Lebeouf Marcel and Walter Marcel Sr.; his great-great 
grandparents, Adeline Lebeouf and Thomas Lebeouf Sr.; his great-great step-
grandmother Amie Brunet; his grandfather, John "Candy" Bourg; his great-step-
grandfather, Claude Prosperie; and his great-great-maternal grandparents, Harry 
and Josephine Marcel.

He was a student at L.E. Fletcher and dreamed of someday being a rapper

In lieu of flowers donations for funeral expenses are preferred.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
