Gerald "Butch" Hyde Jr., 60, a native and resident of Houma, died at 1:05 p.m. 
Oct. 21, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Samart Funeral Home. A 
religious service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with cremation 
to follow.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph Phillip Hyde and Justillian Mark Hyde; 
daughter, Lisa Hyde Picou; sisters, Sharon Robichaux, Marilyn Suire and Donna 
Duplantis; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Robichaux and Olive Richard 
Robichaux; brother, James Robichaux; and one grandchild.

He was self employed. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Bayou Blue 
Dogs.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family for funeral expenses are preferred.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
