Janifer "Jan" Eschete, 41, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 12:15 p.m. Oct. 22, 2004.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. today at Holy Rosary 
Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her parents, Earl Joseph and Rose Brunet Eschete; 
grandmother, Viola Eschete; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl Eschete and wife, 
Stacey, and Glyn Eschete and companion, "Pet" Sweetie; sister, Cheryl Eschete; 
nieces, Katie and Anna Eschete; and nephews, Shawn, Tyler and Justin Eschete.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Howard Eschete and Joseph and 
Leah Brunet.

She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Donations to the family for funeral expenses are preferred.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
