Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Mary Joseph residence, 4201 Woodland Drive, Algiers. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the home, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Sister Miriam (Ann) Mire, Evelyn Capitano, Janet Rovira and Marilyn Crosby; sons, Andrew Jr., Denis Sr., Michael Sr., James, John Sr. and Peter Mire; sons- and daughters-in-law, Carol Mire, Tommy Capitano, Beverly Mire, Maria Mire, Ronald Crosby, Donna Mire, Rose Mire and Debbie Mire; and sisters, Carmen LeBon and Sister Marie Therese. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Mire Sr.; parents, Thomas and Carmen d'Aquin; and brother, Thomas d'Aquin Sr. Masses or Donations to Sisters of St. Joseph, 1200 Mirabeau Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122; Sisters of the Most Holy Sacrament, 406 St. Julien St., Lafayette, LA 70506; or Little Sisters of the Poor, 4201 Woodland Drive, Algiers, LA 70131, are preferred.
