Lydia Danos						[Photo]

Lydia Theriot Danos, 99, a native of Raceland and resident of St. Charles 
Community, died at 2:10 a.m. Oct. 16, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo 
Catholic Church at the St. Charles Community. A Mass of Christian burial will be 
celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Mary Cemetery in 
Raceland.

She is survived by her daughter, Janelle D. Foret; brother, Augustin Theriot; 
sisters, Inez Boudreaux and Ethel Foret; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-
grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomasie Danos; parents, Louis and 
Mathilde Gaudet Theriot; sons, Wilfred Danos Sr. and Howard Danos Sr.; brother, 
Louis Theriot; and sisters Elaina Babin, Edith Melancon, Edna Degruise and Exse 
Waguespack.

She was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Falgout Funeral 
Home is in charge of arrangements.
