Madeleine Legendre

Madeleine Thibodaux Legendre, 83, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 7 
p.m. Oct. 24, 2004.

Visitation will be 8:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Co-cathedral in 
Thibodaux.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the 
church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her sons, Raymond Jr. and James Legendre; daughters, Laura 
Oncale and Helen Legendre; sisters, Gertrude Hoffmann, Jenora Acosta and 
Marianna Boudreaux; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond John Legendre Sr.; parents, 
Stanislaus and Marie Bourg Thibodaux; brothers, Alfred and Waldimar Thibodaux; 
and sister, Nellie Thibodaux.

Thibodaux Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
