Marandon Rousse Jr.

Marandon Rousse Jr., 45, a native of Raceland and resident of Pierre Part, died 
at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 29, 2004.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. to noon Friday at Christian Fellowship Church in 
Larose. A religious service will be held at noon Friday at the church, with 
burial at Cheramie Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Sonya Theriot Rousse; son, DeJay Lamperez; 
stepmother, Dorothy Rousse; brothers, Harris Rousse of Galliano and Charles 
Rousse of Golden Meadow; stepbrother, Edison Lee; sisters, Rena Trahan and 
Elaine Louvierre of Galliano, Joelena Duet and Janelle Rodrigue of Larose and 
Azema Landry of Golden Meadow; and stepsisters, Nancy Cheramie and Janis Lee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marandon Sr. and Gertrude Boudreaux 
Rousse.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
