Meridith Alario McQuaid, 81, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, died at 5:15 p.m. Oct. 3, 2004.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off and 9 
to 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. A Mass of 
Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with 
burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Louran McQuaid Sr.; son, Louran Dean McQuaid 
Jr.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Louisiana Esponge Alario 
Sr.; brothers, Antoine E and Thomas Mark Alario; and sister, Lena Alario 
Blanchard.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
