"Spamp" Landry Sr., 87, a native of Brusly St. Martin and resident of Napoleonville, died at 11 p.m. Oct. 20, 2004. Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, O'Neil P. Jr. and Jane L. Landry, Byron and Phyllis B. Landry, Louis and Debra W. Landry, Kenneth and Diane S. Landry, Ricky and Jeanette C. Landry; sisters, Cecile L. Blanchard and Adelle Landry; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise Achee Landry; parents, Louis and Estelle Dugas Landry; brother, Leon Landry; and sister, Anaise Landry. He was a caretaker of St. Anne's Church for 10 years and was a World War II veteran. Donations to the American Heart Association are preferred. The family thanks the staff of Heritage Manor of Napoleonville. Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
