Roseanne Carter

Roseanna Carter, 74, a native of Paincourtville and resident of Baton Rouge, 
died Oct. 25, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Virginia Baptist Church in 
Ewellville. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 
with burial the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sisters, Theresa Adams, Lillian Cola and Florence Carter; 
sisters-in-law, Julia and Mildred Carter; godchild, Lois Burdis; and numerous 
nieces, including "Auntee" Elayne J. Daigle; nephews; and other relatives and 
friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mariah Carter; brothers, 
Alton, Welton and Lawrence Carter Sr.

The family thanks the staff and caregivers of Jackson Hospital, Springville 
Nursing Center and Sterling Place of Baton Rouge.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
