Selma Truehill

Selma Taylor Truehill, 85, a native and resident of Belle Rose, died Thursday, 
Sept. 23, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at Virginia Baptist Church 
in Ewellville. Religious services will be at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial 
in the church cemetery.

She is survived by four sons, George Truehill Sr. of Belle Rose, Clarence 
Truehill Sr. of Las Vegas, Floyd Truehill Sr. of LaPlace and Warren Truehill of 
New Orleans; two daughters, Lois Ealem of Memphis and Hilda May Watson of New 
Orleans; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives 
and friends.

She was a homemaker and member of the senior usher board at Virginia Baptist 
Church.
