Stanley Degree						[Photo]

Stanley Degree, 50, a native and resident of Larose, died at 5:15 a.m. Oct. 12, 
2004, at Madison Deville Nursing Home in Houma.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at New Mount Zion Baptist Church in 
Larose. A religious service will take place at 11 a.m. at the church, with 
burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Minor of Larose; a brother, Jerome Degree Sr. 
of Larose; sisters, Stella Campous of Justice, Ill., Beverly Degree of Galliano, 
Donna Degree of Atlanta, Debra Jones and Rhonda Jones of Larose and Melaine 
Minor of Gretna.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Degree Jr.; stepfather, Robert 
"Jack" Minor; two brothers, Alfred Degree III and Gregory Minor.

Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
