Verdry Thomas						[Photo]

Verdry J. "Mike" Thomas, 89, a native of Berwick and resident of Schriever, died 
at 11:15 a.m. Oct. 25, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. A memorial 
service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial at St. 
Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery.

He is survived by his son, Corrie Thomas; daughters, Jackie T. Boudreaux, Dottie 
T. Hebert and Debbie T. Benoit; eight grandchildren; and eight great-
grnadchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Landry Thomas; parents, Robert 
Thomas and Celeste Angeron Thomas; brothers, Jesse and Roland Thomas,; and 
sister, Ethel T. Keller.

He was a retired draftsman and surveyor with Carl Heck Engineers.

He was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II and a parishisoner of St. Bridget 
Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
