Visitation will be 2 to 4:30 p.m. today at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville and from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Belmont Baptist Church in Labadieville. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Early Williams of Labadieville; daughters, Jacqueline Benjamin of Donaldsonville and Sheila Harris of Labadieville; sons, Clyde Williams of Thibodaux, Joseph Williams of Labadieville and Randy Williams of Dallas; sisters, Elmira Hamilton and Estelle Coleman, both of Napoleonville, Ora Carter of Thibodaux and Gwendolyn Burdis of New Orleans; brother, Louis Jackson of Houma; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Elmira Burdis Young; one brother; and two sisters. Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of arrangements.
