Dudley Pitre

Dudley A. Pitre, 79, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 3:40 a.m. Sept. 
28, 2004.

Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off. A 
religious service will be held at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home, with burial 
at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

He is survived by his wife, Mazie Gisclair Pitre; sons, Morris and Tommy Paul 
Pitre; daughters, Judy P. Cheramie and Sally Ann Pitre; brother, Eugene Pitre; 
sister, Ophelia P. Lefort; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elfer and Romala Lafont Pitre; and 
sister, Adeline Pitre.

He was Baptist and a member of Masonic Lafourche Lodge No. 422.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
