Elizabeth Levy

Elizabeth Levy, 58, a native and resident of Belle Rose, died Sept. 5 at 
Riverwest Medical Center in Plaquemine.

Visitation will be held 2 to 4:30 p.m. today Williams and Southall Funeral Home 
in Napoleonville and from 9 to 11 a.m. a.m. Tuesday at First Israel Baptist 
Church in Belle Rose.

A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial at the 
church cemetery.

She is survived by sons, Dwayne, Rogers, Daniel Sr. and Ernest Levy, all of 
Belle Rose, and Beasley Levy Jr.; daughter, Charlene Levy of Belle Rose; 
sisters, Adline Johnson of Kenner, Agnellia Joseph of Donaldsonville, Edith 
Patterson, Odessa Phillips, Patricia Dorsey, Caroline Richard and Aleda Joseph, 
all of Belle Rose; 13 grandchildren; two aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews 
and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Beasley Levy Sr.; parents, Rogers and 
Doris Sims Joseph; son, Maxwell Levy; brothers, Benjamin and Herbert Joseph; and 
sisters, Orelia Atkins and Lillian Coleman.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
