Evelyn Theriot						[Photo]

Evelyn Matherne Theriot, 78, a native of Gheens and resident of Cut Off, died at 
8:13 p.m. Sept. 19, 2004.

Visitation will be 9:15 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 
Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at 
the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Ernest Jr. and Perry Theriot; daughters, Beverly 
Arabie and June Tregre; sons-in-law, Don Arabie and Earl Tregre; daughter-in-
law, Paulette Theriot; brother, Sidney Matherne; grandchildren, Garret Arabie, 
Jennifer Tregre Walker, Greg Arabie, Jamie Tregre Jernigan and Laci Igo; great-
grandchild, Madelin Arabie; and grandchildrens' spouses, Jill Arabie, Scott 
Walker, Jeremy Jernigan and Christien Lasseigne.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Theriot Sr.; parents, Felix and 
Adele Hebert Matherne; brothers, Felecien, Felix Jr., Antoine and Johnny 
Matherne; and sisters, Adele LeBouef, Adelina Perez, Adelise LeBouef, Adelia 
Plaisance and Mathild Daigle.

She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
