Ferdinand Rogers

Ferdinand "Fuzz" Rogers, 66, a native of Montegut and resident of Bourg, died at 
5:45 a.m. Sept. 6, 2004.

Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. today and 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann 
Community Center in Bourg. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. 
Ann Catholic Church in Bourg, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Pearl Jabert Rogers of Bourg; mother, Lucina Bourg 
Rogers Hutchinson of Bourg; sons, Tommy and Dale Rogers of Bourg; daughter, 
Louise R. Aucoin of Des Allemands; brother, Earl Rogers of Montegut; sister, 
Imelda Derise of Mermentau; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ferdinand Joseph Rogers Jr.; and 
granddaughter, Danette Rogers.

He was parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army and 
was a member of the Montegut American Legion Post 0272.

He was a commercial fisherman.

Donations to the family are preferred. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of 
arrangements.
