Visitation will be from 5 to 11 p.m. today and from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his sons, Sidney Sr., Lester, Haze, Adam and Michael Allemand; daughters, Wilma, Hazel and Linda Allemand and Eve Lee Davis; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Ledet Allemand; parents, George Allemand Sr. and Denysia Callahan Allemand; granddaughter, Cindy Allemand Stevens; grandson, Jacques Allemand; great-granddaughter, Shelly Marie Stevens; brothers, Willie Sr., Xavier and O'Neil Allemand; half-brothers, Levy, William and Harry Ledet; step-brothers, Abel, Lubin, Phillip, John and Eddie Allemand; sister, Georgina Melancon, half-sister, Lillian Daigle; three step-sisters, Camille Barrios, Bertha Hartman and Brigette Melancon. He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church. Falgout Funeral Home of Lockport is in charge of arrangements.
