George Rochenbaugh Jr.				[Photo]

George Louis Rockenbaugh Jr., 60, a native of Patterson and resident of Temple, 
Texas, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004.

A graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Bridget 
Catholic Church in Schriever. Respecting his wishes, he was cremated.

He is survived by four children, Philip of Gretna; Michael and wife, Amorette, 
of El Paso, Texas; Greg and wife, Miki, of Bayou Vista; and Dawn Rockenbaugh of 
Chackbay; one brother, Ronald of Patterson; three sisters, Rose Gough and 
husband, Gary, of Lafayette; Evelyn Estay and husband, Ron, of Patterson; and 
Pat Lirette and husband, Mikem of Schriever; and seven grandchildren, Logan, 
Seth, Bristol, Shelby, Justin, Colin and Kelcie.

He graduated from Patterson High School and began a 20-year career in the U.S. 
Army. Upon retirement from the military, he began a second career as a systems 
analyst for the Daughters of Charity in Grand Prairie, Texas. In 1999 he 
continued his career working for Siemens-White Group in Temple until he became 
ill last year. He died after a valiant battle with cancer. He lived his life on 
his terms and it was a full and successful life that touched the lives of many 
others. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

The family thanks those closest to him who provided him with personal care and 
attention.
