Junius Crochet						[Photo]

Junius "Jim" Crochet, 76, died at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 23, 2004.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. A 
religious service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with 
cremation to follow.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Crochet Sr. and Keith Crochet Sr.; 
daughters, Linda Himel, Charlene Champagne and Sharon Penton of Gonzales and 
Kathy Theriot of Houma; four brothers; one sister; 17 grandchildren; and 18 
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanna Marcel Crochet; parents, Sterline 
Crochet Sr. and Marie Haydel Crochet Boudreaux; two brothers; and one sister.

He was Catholic.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He enjoyed fishing and farming.

Donations to the family for funeral expenses are preferred.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
