Laura Guidry

Laura Lefort Guidry, 75, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, 
died at 2:45 p.m. Sept. 8, 2004.

Visitation will be 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off. A 
religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with 
burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Guidry; brothers, Norman and Andrew 
Lefort Jr.; sisters, Doris Lefort, Lorraine Pierce, Audrey Burkett and Mae Ann 
Danos; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mabry Guidry; parents, Andrew Sr. and 
Benisia Gaspard Lefort; brother, Rudy Lefort; and sisters, Norma Plaisance and 
Oletta Autin.

She was a volunteer worker for Catholic Community Center in Galliano.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
