Leroy Smith						[PHOTO]

Leroy Smith, 50, a native of Raceland and resident of West Feliciana Parish, 
died at 2 a.m. Sept. 15.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Zion Baptist Church in 
Raceland. The religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. 
Burial will be in the Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland.

He is survived by his daughter, Cherokee Davis of Raceland; sisters, Rosa Nell 
Smith of Lockport, Viola Rushing and Barbara Alexander of Houston, Texas, Lenora 
Smith, Audrey Jones, Ola Brown, and Mary Thomas of Raceland; brothers, Philip 
Smith of Kenner, and Monroe Smith Jr., of New Orleans; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leola and Monroe Smith Sr.

He was Baptist.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
