The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ================================ September 18. 2004 1:54AM Luby LeBlanc Luby John "Chink" LeBlanc, 59, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Thibodaux, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Frances Shaw; two daughters, Belle Shaw and Angela Dautreuil and husband, Francis; four stepsons, Bobby, Joe, Clark and Ronald Shaw; three sisters, Audrey LeBlanc, Eula L. Daigle and husband, C.J., and Barbara LeBlanc; and three grandchildren, Jaydon Labat and Nathalie and Gabrielle Dautreuil. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luby and Laura Roger LeBlanc; and one brother, Floyd LeBlanc Sr. He enjoyed deer hunting and the outdoors. Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
