Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 7 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gheens. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. He is survived by his former wife, Felicia Cheramie; his parents, Leroy Cheramie and Genell Plaisance Cheramie; one daughter, Hannah Marie Cheramie; one brother, Terry J. Cheramie and wife, Callie Sampey; his former sister-in-law, Tara A. Cheramie; one nephew, Chase Cheramie; two nieces, Erin and Myka Cheramie; and his grandmother, Elise Cheramie. He was preceded in death by one uncle, Calvin Cheramie; two aunts, Joyce C. Melancon and Verlie P. Matherne; one nephew, Clint Cheramie; and his grandparents, Louis Cheramie and Levy Sr. and Adelia Plaisance. He enjoyed having a good time with his friends, spending time with his daughter, working on his vehicles and working out. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
