Miller Blackwell Sr.				[Photo]

The Rev. Miller Warren Blackwell Sr., 98, a native and resident of Belle 
Alliance, died Sept. 14, 2004.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at First Israel Baptist Church in Belle 
Rose. A wake service will be held at 8 p.m. today. A religious service will be 
held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his sons, Albert Harris and Miller Eugene Blackwell Sr.; 
daughters, Caroline Blackwell-Bartley, Mazie Blackwell-Williams, Lois Blackwell-
Crawford and Joyce Blackwell-Jones; and numerous grand-, great-grand-, and 
great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Henriette Reed Blackwell.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
