Remy Reulet						[Photo]

Remy John Reulet Sr., 88, a native of Vacherie and resident of Bourg, died at 9 
a.m. Sept. 27, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg. A 
military service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with a Mass of Christian 
burial at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie Hebert Reulet of Bourg; son, Remy J. Reulet 
of Jackson, Miss.; daughters, Kathleen Bascle of Bourg and Jane Gibbs of 
Lakeland, Tenn.; brothers, George, Antoine and Richard Reulet, all of Vacherie; 
sister, Olga Becnel of Vacherie; six grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Placide and Eve Ockman Reulet; 
brothers, Placide Jr. and Wilson Reulet; sisters, Rita Toups and Denise Percle.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and in the Air Force during the 
Korean War.

He was retired from the FAA.
