Rogers Guidry Jr.

Rogers Joseph Guidry Jr., 54, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of 
Galliano, died at 3 p.m. Sept. 20, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in 
Galliano. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at 
the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Susie Hendrix Guidry; mother, Gloria Duplantis 
Guidry; daughter, Stacy G. Martin; brother, Mark Guidry; sister, Joyce Guidry 
Pitre; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rogers Joseph Guidry Sr.

He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a member of St. 
Joseph's Holy Name Society.

He enjoyed bowling and fishing.

He was a Times-Picayune dealer at Fourchon and a store manager for Ellzey Marine 
Hardware at Fourchon.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
