Roland Tastet Sr.					[Photo]

Roland Joseph Tastet Sr., 66, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of 
Lockport, died at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 23, 2004.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Holy Savior 
Catholic Church in Lockport, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his father, Robert J. Tastet; sons, Roland J. and Joseph P. 
Tastet; brother, Roy Tastet; sister, Rosemary Tastet; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Curole Tastet.

He was Catholic and enjoyed bicycle riding.

He was retired from Valentine Sugars after 34 years.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
