Campo, 77, a native and resident of Napoleonville, died Aug. 31, 2004. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Edna Oncale Campo; sons and daughters-in-law, Alvin and Darla Campo, Wayne and Patricia Campo; daughters and son-in-law, Geraldine Campo, Lisa and Bolo Gilmore; brothers, Clyde and Eugene Campo; sister, Elmire Gilbert; and grandchildren, Tara, Clint and Chase Campo, Cherie C. Harvey and Kyle Gilmore. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Annette Daudmon Campo; and brothers, Owen, Abby, Joseph Jr. and Alvin Campo. He was a retired mail carrier and World War II veterans, a member of the American Legion and Knights of Columbus. He was an avid fisherman. Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
