Ruther Brown						[Photo]

Ruther Mae Elam Brown, 64, a native of East Baton Rouge and resident of 
Thibodaux, died Aug. 25, 2004.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Baptist Church in 
Thibodaux. The religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 
with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Brown of Thibodaux; father, Joseph Elam of 
Geismer; daughter, Sherrie Brown Streams of Thibodaux; son, Johnny Brown of 
Thibodaux; sister, Evelyn Dangerfield of Thibodaux; brother, Milton T. White of 
Gray; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara White.

She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. Her hobbies included caring for 
plants and flowers.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
