Visitation will be held fom 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Frances de Sales Cathedral in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial following. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Fay J. Chauvin of Houma; son Fay "Joe" Joseph Chauvin III and wife, Linda of Missouri City, Texas; daughters Sibyl Maier of Houma, Elouise Chauvin of Joelton, Tenn., Harriet Wright and husband, Thomas, of Fort Myers, Fla., and Aimee Lasseigne and husband, Dr. Richard Lasseigne of Thibodaux; brother Thomas Robichaux and wife, Rita, of Raceland; sister Therese Hodson of Houma; grandchildren Mike Maier, Michelle Maier Siegel, Mark Maier, Jeanine Gesser, Brad Chauvin, Margaret Wright, Elizabeth Wright, William Wright, Richard Lasseigne, Jeremy Lasseigne and Jeffrey Lasseigne; and great-grandchildren Mark A. Maier II, Matthew Maier, Michael Maier, Samantha Siegel and Eric T. Chauvin II. She was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad Robichaux and Winona Chauvin Robichaux; son-in-law Doug Maier; grandson Eric T. Chauvin; brothers Raymond Robichaux and Conrad Robichaux; and sister-in-law Priscilla Robichaux. She was a homemaker and was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Ladies Altar Society and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Thanks to Bayou Regions Hospice, sitters Helen Waguespack and Mary Ann Gilfour and Dr. Richard Haydel for their loving care. Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
