Donald Danos Sr.

Donald Danos Sr., 77, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 8:10 a.m. July 
20, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Samart Funeral Home. A memorial 
service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Adams Danos; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald 
Jr. and Karen Danos, Troy and Maria Danos; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and 
Steve Copeland; brothers, Waul and Lloyd Danos; sister, Eula Foret; and 
granddaughter, Jennifer Copeland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Armond and Eugenie Guichet Danos; 
brothers, Armond "T-Mon," Edmond, Enos, Norman and Hughes Danos; and sister, 
Cornelia Danos.

He was Catholic.

He served for two years in the U.S. Army Paratroopers.

He enjoyed sports, running and traveling.

He served 30 years in the Lafourche Parish Schools system teaching and coaching.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
