Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. today and 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery. He is survived by his son, Michael E. Hebert of Lawrenceville, Ga.; daughters, Dolores Mire, Dawn Daigle and Denise Johnson; 10 grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Guidry Hebert; parents, Cleomere and Ursule Broussard Hebert; brothers, Oris, Odilon, Ovide, Otto, Ougustin, Oscar, Ouraure, Olton, Octa, Ovey, Ora and Aurelie Hebert; sisters, Olita Hebert, Orella Bailey and Olive Mayard. He was a retired toll test technician from South Central Bell Telephone. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a past president of Telephone Pioneers of America and a parishioner of Maria Immocalota Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
