Geraldine Reeks

Geraldine Marion St. Germain Reeks, 77, a native and resident of Pierre Part, 
died at 11:50 p.m. July 6, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in 
Pierre Part. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at 
the church with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Keith Rauhans, Michael Rauhans, Gregory Reeks and 
Coy Reeks; daughters, Elmina Shearer, Sharon Thibodeaux, Shelia Gautreaux, April 
Hebert and Michelle Crowson; brothers, Roy St. Germain and Rauleigh St. Germain 
Sr.; sisters, Vivian Wheat and Violet Aucoin; 17 grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Joseph and Anna Fournerette St. 
Germain; brother, Wilson Joseph St. Germain Sr.; and sister, Agnes Maria Perera.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic and was a member of LFAS. She 
enjoyed baking, traveling and casino outings.

She was a retired cook with the Assumption Parish School Board.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge.
