James Mitchell McDonald, 82, a native of Chicago, died Monday, July 28, 2005, at 
Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.

Funeral services were held Thursday at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home in 
Dallas. Burial will be in Clearwater, Fla.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Hazel; daughter Gail of Dallas; and two 
granddaughters.

A retired vice president of the General Electric Co., McDonald was a member of 
the Presbyterian faith. He was an avid golfer and tennis player. He was a World 
War II veteran of the U.S. Navy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests 
donations in his name to Dallas Children's Advocacy Center or Children's Medical 
Center of Dallas.
