John Guillot Sr.					[Photo]

John I. Guillot Sr., 85, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 3:40 p.m. 
July 8, 2005.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the Thibodaux Funeral Home 
Parlor and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Genevieve Catholic 
Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. 
Wednesday at the church with burial following at St. Philomena Family Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie Gauthreaux Guillot; son John "T-John) Guillot 
Jr.; daughter Rosalie Guillot Landry; four grandchildren; six great-
grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edovic Guillot and Lucia Aucoin Guillot; 
son Gerald Guillot; daughter Elizabeth Guillot; brothers Irvin and Joseph "Joe" 
Guillot; and sisters Orina Pitre, Brigitte Thibodaux and Marie Lirette.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
